January 9, 2018 Board Meeting Agenda Item #17 Title APPROVAL TO AWARD BID #18-0310 FOR ASPHALT PAVING SERVICES Description Bids to provide 'Asphalt Paving Services' were received from seven vendors on November 21, 2017. The bid of Gator Grading & Paving, LLC was the best low bid meeting the advertised specifications based on a sealed scenario. This bid is for a period of three years with an option to renew for two additional one-year periods. Funds for these purchases are contained in the budget allocated to the Facilities Services Department. Recommendation That the bid of Gator Grading & Paving, LLC to provide 'Asphalt Paving Services' in an amount estimated at $1,500,000.00 for a three-year period, be approved as presented.
